"...Now, in order for me to talk about the Blue, first of all I got to mention my home town -it would be impossible for me to talk about the Blues and not talk about me and this city, because the two go hand in hand. Now in Chicago we have so many outstanding night spots, quite a few help teaching this music I´m talking about, which is the Blues.

Now we have one place particularly in Chicago where we use to love together, sit down and talk to each other and listen to the Blues - The name of this place is Theresa´s Lounge. Theresa´s Lounge is located on the corner of 48th street endin´ and F - Ebony, and it´s down in the basement. Now by being in the basement, naturally, we call tit T´s basement. And in T´s basement at one time and the other you will surely hear and see your favourite thing about it.
